I talked to a Novus insider last week about new HD services. While he couldn't confirm anything absolutely, he informed me that AMC-HD and Spike-HD are most likely to be added whenever negotiations are done. (This assumes that they went well, of course).

No further word on Setanta-HD, I'm afraid.

Setanta HD is ch 137 and AMC HD is 145.

As of today's date, AMC-HD can be found on Channel 145. And Setanta-HD is now located at Channel 137. They are both free for the month to subscribers who have been receiving those two channels in SD.

Novus has exceptional service and prices, but why is that a trade off for so few HD channels?

HGTV HD and History HD are now live on CH 110 and 111 respectively.

I called Novus yesterday and both new channels will be on 'free-view' 'til the end of the month.

Novus - any indication when you will carry the new HD feed?

I just heard that the channel was launching july 6th and was wondering the same thing as the original poster, soon I hope! Hopefully we will be able to get it separately and not require to receive it on basic cable or their specialty HD package as I don't get either currently.

And to anyone else out there who is wanting Space HD, please be sure to email or call to let them know that you want it on Novus. They just informed me that they don't have any info yet for when it might be available. But unless we let them know, they won't know how much demand there is for it.

So what's the good word Novus? Any new HD coming down on to my Novus channel line-up? Space HD? Spike HD? Other HD?

When I called in to cancel my Superchannel subscription from that free 3 month offer, I also asked about Space HD, the rep mentioned that they were in negotiations to get it and that people really want it, but that's about all he knew or could tell me.

SpikeHD now added to 162 and CTV2HD added to 169. Cool!

I knew about Spike HD - supposedly have a free preview from today until end of december but doesn't seem to work yet. Albeit I checked Spike's schedule and there isn't anything on there I can see myself ever watching. They stopped airing Star Trek repeats long ago.

169 I did not know about, albeit I just saw 169 listed in my guide without a name or any shows scheduled(all are TBA). I was hoping it was going to be Space HD :( But as CTV2 is a bell owned station maybe its a good sign that Space will come soon :)

I did have to get tech support to view those channels though, they werent immediately available. Also my 169 guide info reads the same way. Kinda weird.

hmm, just checked, both Spike and CTV2 work albeit still with no guide on CTV2. Guess they enabled it sometime today for viewing.
