*C will remove X-Treme Sport from his channel lineup somewhere in September.

The reason provided by *C is unclear: they are saying "CanWest Global will stop offering this channel in their channel lineup in October" - whatever that Orwellian sentence means.

Does that means CanWest is shutting the channel? No one can confirm, but I was told providers will stop providing this channel as well - I'm unsure if it's true or not, though.

It probably means Canwest is discontinuing the channel. They discontinued Cool TV during the summer.

This may be a decision to substitute it and not add TSN2 to its lineup.

I understand only Cogeco is carrying TSN2.

Canwest Global Media Inc. will no longer distribute X-Treme Sports.

Nobody will be carrying this channel.
