: In HD: 'Prison Break' Season 4 official thread
recneps77 2009-05-16, 05:33 PM Did I miss something, though?
I thought they showed Kellerman shoot himself..?
It was a while back, maybe he didn't do it in the end?
The ending was very well done. It had a dramatic movie-type feeling to it.
rvs007 2009-05-16, 06:24 PM ^^ The last we saw of Kellerman was when he was being transported in a van to prison, after he testified... it was assumed that he was killed in the van. But I guess not.
Classof83 2009-05-16, 06:55 PM Of course we thought Sara's head was chopped off and she was dead too during season 2.
It wouldn't have surprised me if we would have seen Bellick come back for the last episode, even though he was CLEARLY shown as being dead near the beginning of season 4.
tablo 2009-05-16, 09:17 PM I was watching the Global BC feed(it was simsubbed) and the closed captioning was real-time. I wonder what the reason is...
james99 2009-05-18, 10:44 PM Just when you think the series is over......new episode hits BD/DVD July 21st.
It takes place after the finale ends.
The federal government canīt touch Michael Scofield, so theyīre going after the woman he loves. When Sara is arrested for murder, only Michael can rescue her — and their unborn child — from an impenetrable womenīs prison. With a price on Saraīs head and time running out, Michael must rely on his deadliest enemies to help attempt the most daring breakout ever. Combining white-knuckle intensity with jaw-dropping action and suspense, this is Prison Break like itīs never been seen before. Donīt miss a chance to make The Final Break!
dosborne 2009-05-19, 07:45 AM This show, along with a few others, I am happy to be done with. Having invested the time watching the first couple of seasons, I couldn't bring myself to just stop, but didn't much care for it any more. I will be sure to not pick up the DVD. I can't wait for "Lost" to be over.
The first season was great. The wrap up I didn't mind, but there was a bunch of stuff in the middle that I could have slept through.
rileyparrish 2009-05-19, 12:57 PM I can't believe it ended the way it did...I suppose they were showing the characters were mortal in the end but still, unnecessary IMO. After all the stuff they went through and he still dies...brought a tear to my eye. Looking back I started watching this show when it began. It makes you look at how much of your own life has gone by since then.
meshmellow 2009-05-19, 02:01 PM I can't seem to remember what happened to Lincoln's son. Lincoln had certainly been concerned about him in Season 2, and in my recollection, he was revealed to be alive in Season 3. I would have expected him to be included in the "wrap up", where they showed what had happened to everyone in the years since Michael died. Why wouldn't he have been there, or did I just miss something?
Can anyone clear this up for me?

james99 2009-05-19, 02:12 PM Perhaps they didnt' want to pay the kid. They mentioned he was in school.
NB Josh 2009-05-19, 05:56 PM The last 10 minutes were great, the best Prison Break since season 2 in Panama. Otherwise, while the episode was better than most this season, it still wasn't that good.
I'll probably get the DVD because at least it involves breaking someone out of prison, which was what made season one so good.
According to Wikipedia Michael robbed the bank on March 9, 2005 (which was revealed way back in episode one), so he died 8 months afterwards.
asif9t9 2009-05-20, 07:55 AM As silly as the whole Scilla storyline was, they really should never have revealed what Scilla was. It ended up being the secrets to some major technology, and it wasn't backed up anywhere? It was all on that circuitboard, which Michael was screwing around with....he'd take a piece off to make it not work, knowing fully well it would work again when he put the piece back. If it was more of a secret, it could have been slightly more believeable as to why everyone was fighting over it.
Also, what happened to it in the end? Who was that guy from the UN? And 4 years later, did the revelations of Scilla make a difference in the world?
Also, why didn't Sucre and the black guy have to finish out their original sentences? These guys broke out of prison, and got rewarded for it?
Oh, I almost forgot about the Company. Is that organization out of business? Were they just run by an inept General and Mama Scofield? Some closure of the Company would have been nice, too.
So all in all, the only thing I enjoyed about the finale is that it's all over. I even think Wentworth Miller may have hurt his career by staying so long. After Season 1 or maybe 2, he looked ready for stardom.
Larry 2009-05-20, 08:36 AM I must have missed this in earlier seasons - did they ever explain why the brothers had different last names?
james99 2009-05-20, 08:45 AM Other than having different parents you mean?
When Lincoln was little and before Michael had even been born, their father left them. Lincoln kept his last name (Burrows), while Michael kept his mother's maiden name, 'Scofield'.
Simonizer 2009-05-20, 11:48 AM I don't know why Sucre and that black guy got let off.
Btw, what happened to that white guy?
rileyparrish 2009-05-20, 12:49 PM Are you talking about Mahone(William Fitchner) or Kellerman(the guy who got them all pardoned at the end) or LJ(Lincoln's son), or Don Self(the guy in the wheelchair)?
I felt bad for Self...but he got what was coming to him for killing his innocent partner(the hot red head). Although he probably whishes he was dead instead of being brain dead. It was the fault of those agents who wouldn't let him go to emergency I believe.
NB Josh 2009-05-20, 04:52 PM Sucre and the black guy got exonerated of any wrong doing, including past sentences. Michael broke out of prison too so...
Simonizer 2009-05-20, 05:45 PM My point was that he is just not a black guy. He has a name. The actor that plays him is Rockmond Dunbar, and his character's name was Ben Franklin - and they called him C Note because of his character's name.
NB Josh 2009-05-20, 09:03 PM I actually had no clue what his name was, thanks for reminding me. Seriously this show has went on for so long, and had so many storylines, that its so hard to remember what happened. Someone mentioned earlier that the money was in Panama, I forgot all about the money too.
asif9t9 2009-05-23, 12:14 AM Did they even refer to his name in that last episode? I seriously forgot his name and barely remember C-Note now.
As for Don Self, I don't feel sorry for him at all. He singlehandedly wasted hours of my life when he decided to go rogue on the whole Scilla thing. The show looked like it was over, but he wanted more. Then he wanted to shop around to a higher bidder!!!
Danster 2009-05-23, 08:48 AM I know the series went for long but now that it's over, I have mixed feelings. I'm happy it's finally over but at the same time, I will miss the show. I don't regret one moment that I watched the show.
I wish there were more action and intriguing shows like this one.
