: In HD: 'Prison Break' Season 4 official thread

Well, I must admit that the story line has me intrigued. The motivation for all they are doing is losing steam but still fun to watch. I must say, without being too crude, that the eye-candy in last nights show was very nice. I sure hope T-bag keeps his job for a while.

Shannon Lucio. Used to be on The OC. I don't mind them saying Michael and Linc want to solve everything to follow in their dad's footsteps. But why is everyone else there? And when they do come up with a plan, can't the FBI guy give them some hookups even with things like police badges? It just seems completely unbelievable that they would risk everything to break into a place to steal badges.

i thought the same thing, but it adds to the feel they are completely on their own and throws and nice twist into the real world (ie, how 'easy' it would be to get police uniforms/badges)
I did like how they threw a wrench into the company by killing the body guard and then gave the impression it was an armenian that killed him. Very nice!
And it looks as though Whistler was going to use the new office at the job to break into the companies office

I'm ready to give up on "Prison Break" as it's getting way too gimmicky. My better half now watches it in the bedroom while doing sudoku puzzles. She's ready to throw in the towel, too, as she has trouble keeping track of all the characters and I'm not there to bring her up to speed as to who is who.
The trouble is, I've invested a lot of time into this show and I would like to know how it all comes together but it is getting quite tiresome!

LOL @ everyone bashing this show. Not surprising because everything that is popular gets bashed. Its funny it reminds me of people on forums(not this one) bitching about how bad the Sopranos were after season 3 and that is my all time fav series.
I personally love the show!!! I am glad someone is going back to jail(i know you guys don't like that part). The series is called PRISON BREAK and no one is in jail, come on.
I hope Fish dies and we have a spin off with Licon(sp?) after season 5.:p
Most shows on TV are boring except for this show and House. I never watch them live though because of NFL, MLB Extra Innings and NHL Center Ice. I can skip commericals its way better to watch it that way.
When is Prison Break off? 3 weeks of October? MLB playoffs begin in October.
EDIT: i also love a show that kills off a lot of main/medium characters. Me and my co-workers have pools on how is going to die next. Been doing it since Season 2. My idea.

It will take a break on October 13, 20 and 27.
I agree the show is good, but I do want it to end sometime soon because I know I will get tired of it. I still look forward to watching it every Monday. I don't have a problem with a lot of characters, I watch Heroes and Lost which have even more.
Maybe if they set a end date in advance it would be better, like Lost did.

Actually, something about the last episode got my attention again. I like seeing Mahone go on the offensive with his FBI skills. It looks like T-Bag is going to have to get moving now. Gretchen might add some action. Even Agent Self is starting to do illegal things.

Great epidoe on Monday. Anyone else still watching? I can't believe how much I'm looking forward to next Monday.
2008-10-02, 10:02 AM
I'm still watching. It's nice that it is on at 8 on Global now; that way I can watch Prison Break at 8, Terminator at 9 and Heroes at 10. There is no other night like that on TV for me.
Monday's episode was really good. It kind of brought back the 'Prison Break' part of it with Mahone going to jail, and everyone else getting him out. It appears if they are getting about one card per episode, they will probably have all the cards by the break around Christmas. So there is no reason the show shouldn't end this spring.

I loved Gretchen's sister's reaction when she broke the vase and saw the gun! lol, classic.
2008-10-05, 01:02 PM
But....and this is where I ask for a small amount of realism (sorry)....if she's going to break the vase, why not go out to the garage or backyard? Why would she make that mess in the kitchen. Especially when her daughter is there. Sorry, but am I the only one who thinks this way??

Guy, it's Gretchen! She's a cold hearted Biotch! lol

Anyone else notice how short the General was when he stood up to Agent Self?
Big news from Fox's portion of winter press tour! The net just announced that Prison Break would be coming to an end this season. Oh, did I say big news? I meant news we all saw coming a mile away.
The final string of episodes will kick off April 17, but exactly how many episodes there will be is an open question. "We've got our remaining batch of four episodes and then there are a couple more we're contemplating," says network prez Kevin Reilly, adding that the four-year old Prison has simply run its course. "The show is played out." (http://ausiellofiles.ew.com/2009/01/breaking-fox-ca.html)

The show is good but it has nothing to do with prison breaking for quite a while. I hope it ties the lose ends pretty good unlike certain shows that FOX has cancelled in the past...
2009-01-13, 09:38 PM
I thought that when I was watching the last show before Christmas (at the end of the show) that they said the show would continue in the spring with the final six episodes, and showed a few hi-lites.
2009-01-14, 02:34 PM
For some dumb reason I forsee myself watching the last episodes,.... clinging to the faint hope that there will be some sort of closure for the Big Bad Company conspiracy story line.
But I bet at the end of the series finale, they all end up in jail together trying to figure out how to bust out.
Hopefully, I'll be immersed in NHL Playoffs and will completely forget this show ever existed

How about a Prison Break with a lady?
I also keep watching, but please oh please put me out of my misery. How many times can people screw each other over, but then they work together. Why in the hell would the company waste their time with T-Bag working with them now? I think everyone loves the T-Bag character and the writers recognize it and keep him in the storyline....but it never makes any sense. He has nothing to offer anyone he's working with.

great show but definately had a shelf life.
i gotta agree, i didn't like T-Bag to behin with but he's a scene stealer for sure!
