Anyone having trouble downloading the latest virus definitions for either AVG Free 7.5 and/or 8.0?

They must be having server issues because I've been trying to download them for both 7.5 and 8.0 all day, but I keep getting the error message that the update connection is failing. Accessing anything from anywhere else seems to be working just fine.

Try going with Avast. I switched from AVG, and I find it is an improvement.

Yup most been for everyone. Its working now just downloaded them.

I switched to PC Tools AV a while ago, as AVG become problematic when it went to Version 8.

Never had a problem for an AVG update. Just had done before posting.
