Okay, well.. I have a Motorola W385, Telus Mobility cell phone. All I want to do is get free ringtones like everybody else. All my other friends are able to get, create and ultimately have their desired sound clips as ringtones.
However, for some reason, I cannot. I believe this is because of the phone provider I'm with, Telus. I heard that Telus actually blocks the files and links making it nearly impossbile. I have the Motorola Tools, and this does work, too a point. It does allow you to transfer images to your cell phone and does allow you to send sound clips, however it does not allow you to "save as a ringtone" or "apply as..".
I'm writing to find out if anybody has actually managed to find a way around this. I know there is somebody out there with the answer, I'm hopeing this is the place.
Every time I get a sound clip sent too me, I get it, but it does not save or have any options like "Save as", ect like most phones. I tried hitting the options and looking for save or anything and the only thing it has is "Propoties". It is greatly upsetting..
Any information is helpful, thank you for taking the time to read my plee for help.
