As of yesterday early evening and through to today (Sun 27 July) both CBS and NBC are both, I've noticed, having quality issues to a Rogers analogue cable subscriber I'm visiting in the Waterloo region. Specifically NBC is exhibiting frequent and very noticeable tiling that comes and goes every few seconds. This continues right through commercials as well. Interestingly the problem continued early this AM during a GLB subsim of NBC (GLB itself was fine) whereas during an A-ch subsim of NBC last nite, NBC looked the same as A-ch as one would expect.
With CBS the audio is out of sync during both shows and commercials. Also the video shows blocky chunks, similar to tiling but different, primarily in the center of the screen. Oddly this too persisted during a SUNTV subsim, even-though SUNTV's signal was fine in comparison.
I use an MMDS provider and notice tiling once in a while, primarily on TMN, but have been told repeatedly by RCI customers that they "never" have such issues. Anyone else notice these issues regardless of provider?
TIA
