ive been searching and been having bad luck. what resolutions or formats does this support through cat5, cat5e, cat6? does it make a difference? how long can these wires be? when terminating with a RJ45 connector what color code should the wires be in?

where is a good source for something like this and what should i expect to pay?

thanks in advance!

Found this with a quick google,

http://www.hyfai.com/index.php?gOo=goods_details.dwt&goodsid=6&productname=

says here you can get 1080p over cat5e with a max length of 60m(approx 200ft)

I looked at this several months ago. If I recall correctly it was about $100 for a pair of adapters (you need one at each end :) ). Not sure if it was the same brand as posted above.

A little late I know but as a standard I always run cat5e some times cat6 if requested. I also like to use the Muxlab balun's for most projects. www.muxlab.com
