Hello, I had a question regarding transfering numbers between two telus subscribers. I'm currently on Telus and my plan isn't up for another year and a half. I would like to switch over to Rogers however to get an iPhone. My mother is also a Telus subscriber and her plan is up in October. I was wondering if it would be possible to Transfer her phone and number over to my plan once her plan is up, allowing my to sign up for Rogers without having to pay a $360 ECF. Ideally I would like to also be able to take my number with me to Rogers somehow, but It's not absolutely critical that I do. Thanks.

I had a similar situation. You can save a lot of money by using their Website rather than their kiosks or phone support. Anyways...

I had two phones on a family plan and a third on pay-and-talk. One of the family phones broke. We transferred that number to my pay-and-talk phone which then became part of the family plan. ($35.00 at the Telus Store)

Then, I bought a new pay-and-talk phone. I transferred my number to the new phone. ($10.00 on the Telus website)

I guess that's not really similar. I didn't transfer a number between accounts, just cellphones.
