I have problems at my house with TSN HD, in Whitby area. Anybody having similar problems? I have from very extreme macro-blocking to no signal at all. When I called Rogers, they told me it is a wiring issue, which I have hard time believing as the other channels are OK. The signal level ONLY at that channel is very low. I am thinking it is a feed issue, but the tech do not buy it.
What do you guys think?

Check out the following thread on the topic:

Splitter? Phone? Poor cable connection? In this case the tech was probably correct.

He was correct, it turns out. The tech came replaced splitters, switched splitter legs. And finally it was OK. Signal is still a bit weak (-6 dbmV). But it also turns out the frequency is the one of the highest ones on this channels (855Mhz), where there is more interference and loss.

Hi All,

I live in the Bramton area and I recently saw Rogers doing work on my street (a tech had a cover open in the grass a few doors down). Since then my signal strength and S/N ratio has gone down considerably from about -6 dbmV & 35 S/N ratio, to -17dbmv & 32 S/N ratio. Fortunatelty I haven't noticed any degredation in PQ. Should I just leave well enough alone if there aren't any problems or should I complain? My concern is that I may develope problems with the On Demand channels. Any thoughts?

Thanks In Advance

That is a very low level signal. But if you do not see any problems, I doubt Rogers will do anything about it
