I noticed when I rebooted the box, I noticed the following changes:

Faster EPG aks: Program guide.
Link light on Box lits: tells you that you have connection.
Be able to record a show and watch another same time. Coming soon, by the end of June.
Tells you how much you have recorded or watched into the show when you press info while watching a show.

Anybody noticed any changes. If not, The changes will be automatically applied on June 24 at 2 to 3 in the morning during a push of all custs. boxes.

I like the changes so far.

Anyway, until they offer Sunday Ticket and real PVR capabilities, I'm going to have to stay on Access even though with bundling, Max would be a lot cheaper

The one i mentioned, it'll be here by the end of June. Will you switch then or stay till one more thing you mentioned comes out. I could always ask bout it and I'll let you know, it up to you.

You won't be dissapointed pappcam, lots of more features being released over the next coming months at access. Should be in for a good suprise, including VOD among other things.

i was wondering if anyone can tell me this with the hd pvr for max.

can you record one this while watch another, and record that other thing you are watching?

record two things while you are viewing a previously recorded show?

you can record a show and watch or record other one at the same time. Like two shows will be recorded at the same time. Example: you record csi on one, and you can watch law and order on other one. two shows will be taped or watched at the same time.

can some one confirm that this update allows you to watch one hdtv show and recored another hdtv show at the same time? (i haven't seen anything on sasktel website about this)

I know it works with sd channels but has the update made it possible to do this with 2 hdtv channels

They better be bringining NHL Centre Ice as well, I would love to move away from Shaw

If you want Sasktel to bring it to us, maybe you should call Sales and tech support and request it and tell them you want it bad and get out of Shaw in a hurry.

It won't hurt to tell them.
