I see announcements that Eureka has been picked up for a third season. The season will start on July 3, 2008.

As usual, those announcements are for the US only.

Anyone have any information on when - or if - this show will be coming to Canada? I did do a search, and could not find any discussions about season 3 anyplace here.....

I was really, really hoping that it would also be on one of the HD channels.....

I can't disagree, on startchoice SPACE is so compressed that it is barely watchable.

We decided to wait for season 2 dvd to come out to watch them.

According to Sci -Fi Network web page it does not return until July 29th.

Not starting July 29th, that is sci-fi in the U.S. only. You'll have to wait for the Canadian channels to pick it up, typically in the fall.

My wife still likes this show, although the reasons are quite starange and I won't get into that, but I'm less impressed with each episode. I consider myself a pretty well embeded sci-fi guy, but there is something that just doesn't intrigue me with this show. The main plot just doesn't get me excited. I think they should stick with quirky, one-off episodes.

Man, I love this show. I'm not sure why either? I'm currently eagerly re-watching the season 2 episodes on Space for the 3rd time through. I think it may be the music and quirky characters, especially the background ones. This is one of the very few shows that makes me LOL. "I'm smart... I'm plenty smart!" :D ha, gotta love that.

It's a show that doesn't take itself seriously. I like the way the show is progressing. Season opener was pretty good. I won't spoil it with details but there is a new villain in town now that the town shrink is dead.
