Has anyone run a HTPC server, or a HTPC using a rack system? I have a server rack at home for all my components, and want to see what the viability is for doing some type of HTPC rack set up.

I know it can be done but why? (other than rackmount is in 'desktop' configuration)

The whole exercise of HTPC casing is to look small & sexy and hopefully it is quiet and doesn't cook the components inside too much...and not too costly as well.

If he has all of his other components in the rack, it would look silly having his HTPC left out

I have seen some really nice racks, but never seen a HTPC in them

Antec makes a series of rackmount cases (http://www.antec.com/us/pro_rackmounts.php) that might be suitable for HTPC. Check out the Take 3 (http://www.antec.com/us/productDetails.php?ProdID=94003) and Take 4 (http://www.antec.com/us/productDetails.php?ProdID=94004) models.
