: How big is your bedroom TV?
kcbrk32 2008-05-29, 06:13 PM No bedroom TV, although I sometimes nod off in front of my 50" living room TV.
I do have a 13" Sanyo in my computer room I hope to replace this summer.
johnp'in'bc 2008-05-29, 06:57 PM No tv in 'master' bedroom (that's where I go to sleep, or ...). I do have a 13" crt tv in 'den' (= other bedroom, where my pc is), mostly just to catch some so-called 'news' occasionally. One of these days, I may replace the latter with something better, so I can watch/listen to my jazz dvd's when 'computing'.
billw 2008-05-29, 09:06 PM 10 year old 27" CRT
kev604 2008-05-30, 12:05 AM I have a 37" LCD in my bedroom. My 4 year old daughter has a 13" CRT in her bedroom.
The next TV I get for my bedroom I'd go a little bigger 40"-42".
Interesting. As of this morning, those that have bedroom TVs, 37% are 30" or larger.
rsambuca 2008-05-30, 10:29 AM My 4 year old daughter has a 13" CRT in her bedroom.
Yikes!
hawkwind 2008-05-30, 03:38 PM 27" Sony CRT. It is much easier to cuddle up late at night with the girlfriend in a bed while watching a movie. Especially when she usually falls asleep 1/2 to 3/4 through.
i hate tv 2008-05-30, 03:53 PM We have a no name 20" CRT tv, been going good for 6-7 years now
Flat panels were only for the rich back then (or richer than I was/am) and finding a spot for the tv to fit was difficult
We ended up hanging it from the ceiling in front of the bed
The wife was deadset against it, but loves it now, as she has the control of the remote now, as when I go to bed, I watch tv for 5 minutes, then sleepy time
Its hooked up to our 9200 too, which is nice, as we don't have to hang a receiver too!
Bombtrack 2008-05-30, 06:30 PM 13" Toshiba from 1992.
lagernale 2008-05-30, 06:37 PM I Have a 52" LCD rear projection sitting on a dresser in our bedroom, just because I don't have my Bar room built yet , My 56" is in my recroom, friends just shake their heads.
Wayne 2008-05-30, 08:34 PM 42" Toshiba plasma. At first my wife didn't want a TV in the bedroom but when one of you is on the verge of falling asleep it is a great to have the option to watch TV from bed.
wgauci 2008-05-30, 08:49 PM LG 32" LCD, hanging from an articulating mount in the corner worked out great. I got it from future shop, last of a line floor model so it was too cheap to pass up.

LOL, my daughter doesn't watch that much TV but sometimes in the morning when she gets up or just before she sleeps my wife will watch some kids programs or cartoons in her room with her, easier then running downstairs.
probak118 2008-05-31, 07:15 AM 19" Sharp LCD hanging on the wall.

Were is her LC or Palsma?;)
19" Sharp LCD hanging on the wall. Wise and moderate choice for a beroom... Maybe Kev could take this lead for his daugther's bedroom!;)

With the way the prices of LCD and Plasma are falling these days you never know! LOL! :D
jshel101 2008-06-03, 12:34 PM We have a 22" LCD montitor hooked up to our PC that we use to watch TV. I need to get something a little bigger. The montior is about 15ft away from the bed, so you can't see the programming guide. You have to walk up to the computer to see it. I would like to get a 42" plasma or lcd, that owuld probably work better
JPeeper 2008-06-03, 06:43 PM I have a 24" Samsung CRT. I can't believe someone has a 50" in their room! Mine is in my basement.

Technically it could be 59". And they are not alone. :D
jayoldschool 2008-06-03, 09:10 PM Started with a 12" BW when I was young. Eventually went to 14" colour. Currently we have a 27" LCD. It's too small in our new house, though. I think a 42" would be just about perfect.
