This would be the update to the PS Store and firmware 2.30. I'm hoping the firmware takes care of the network issues caused by 2.20.

New firmware is due out today to introduce the revamped Playstation Store and add DTS-HD Master Audio and DTS-HD High Resolution Audio features for Blu-ray movies as discussed in the above link.

The last PS Blog said to expect it for some time Tuesday morning. They spent all day today working on it.

Downloaded it and went to go see the new store. It looks good but it's not finished yet. They were still loading graphics since none of the games or titles had any.

I like the new navigation way better.

Yup, looks like the new store is not ready for primetime yet. But the new layout does look better.

Edit: It may just be overloaded at the moment. I'm starting to get some graphics now on a second try.

I agree the new store looks good as well. Now I just need to get the call that GT is ready for me to pick up and my week will be complete :)

What issues are you having? My network has been fine, except on the POS Rainbow Six Vegas 2 (hardly ever connects to a game!).

He probably means the issues with streaming certain file types.

The PS3 is not the source of your problems. Your D-Link is.

I'd go out and buy a new router in a second. But I can't seem to figure out the best one to choose. When I bought this DLink, I thought it was a brand name router. I never would have guessed it would be so bad. What wireless router should I get?

I personally think linksys makes the best routers, but that's just me.

BTW, updated to 2.30 using a USB flash drive, it went smoothly. I like the look of the new store, it's far superior to the old piece of junk.

Not sure what the deleted posts were talking about, but something did happen with the networking after FW 2.20. Streaming HD media via TVersity is not reliable. If you try to fastforward or rewind, there's a delay and it's choppy. Yet if you copy the file to the PS3, the FWD and REW is smooth. And the streaming never used to cut out. But now it does.

Plus. I have always had the same DLink DI-624. Before FW 2.20, everything was fine. Since 2.20, when I do the Internet Connection Test, I get a message that says, "Your router does not support IP Fragments and communication features of some games may be restricted". I still get this message after FW 2.30, and I have the latest FW for my router.

I can connect to the PS Network and PS Store. I can get online with GT5:P and Tekken. But I cannot get online with High Stakes Pokes. Weird.

Maybe they changed the way some games access online games... and it's possible your router just doesn't support this new method, even if it has the latest firmware.

I tried updating my ps3 with a usb drive and a then a cdr lastnight and it won't see the file why is that?
I have done it online before but it's to slow so I d/l the update at work where it only takes 20 seconds.
It asks how I want to update (online or on media) I select media, it searches for a second but says it can't find anything.
What am I doing wrong?
