Hi... Just wondering if any TELUS TV subscribers checked out the Canucks PPV game in HD tonight? Just wondering if it was true HD and how it went, and if it cut out in the 3rd period with 10 minutes left like it did for us Shaw subscribers.

Quite curious as to whether it was true HD as well. As far as I know, the Canucks are not producing the games in HD so was it upconverted SD? Or, did the Canucks actually use an HD truck and no one else picked it up?
According to Telus' web site:
With an HD TV and TELUS HD programming, you can catch your favourite hockey team in action.
Order the last 3 PPV Canuck games of the 07/08 season in HD for $19.95 a game.
March 17 Canucks vs. Phoenix Coyotes 7:00PM
March 25 Calgary Flames vs. Canucks 6:00PM
April 3 Canucks vs. Edmonton Oilers 7:30PM
Order these games directly from your TV on channel
# 675, up to a week in advance.
Note: You must already subscribe to TELUS HD TV channels to view these games.
Cost: in SD - 12.95$
in HD - 19.95$

But that still doesn't answer the question; was it actually an HD broadcast? Did anyone see it? And if it was, it seems odd that none of the other providers would offer it as well.
Seven bucks is a heck of a premium to pay for HD. The Canucks, and every other team that does PPV, should be migrating those productions to HD as a way to keep current viewers and attract new ones, not gouge their dwindling audiences for even more money. What business school did the execs who made this decision go to? I'll never buy a PPV game until it's in HD, and if the Canucks slap a premium price on that HD PPV, I still won't buy.

I hear what you are saying but in the industry right now:
It costs more (on pretty much all providers) to get regular HD channels (HD Access Fee of some sort).
Is costs more for HD PPV movies and HD PPV Special Events (boxing, UFC, etc) than SD PPVs.
So what the Canucks their providers are doing isn't outside of the norm. Really if they didn't charge more for it, it would be outside the norm.

It was probably HD...Canucks said they've done a few already on an experimental basis.
