I thought my new Sony TV would have two component inputs.
On delivery I find it has only one, plus SVideo and a DVI input.
Is there anything that plugs into a DVI input.? I thought of Sony's DVD recorder, but it is component video only.
My problem is I want to use component cables to connect my Samsung OTA receiver, my cable box when Cogeco finally goes HDTV and my DVD player.
I am currently connecting the OTA receiver and the DVD player via a Yamaha receiver that has two component inputs. Finding the right audio and video connections is a nightmare.
Is there any way of connecting two or three component inputs into one output?
Any help would be most appreciated.

There are switches available to do this. There are manual composite/RCA switches for about $25 that do the trick from Radio Shack and there are automatic switches for C$400 and anything in between. See the following thread.

If you're looking for a new receiver in the near future as well, many quality units offer component video switching.

I don't know why I forgot to mention the A/V receiver option - good catch. Remember, to properly pass HD signals in a receiver, you need "wideband" component video switching. Minimum 25 MHz, preferably more than 37 MHz.
