I emailed a friend who lives on the beach where the 6th foot was found. He said it's a hoax. But then, it's well known that people in Campbell River NEVER admit de-feet.

Two of the five feet that have mysteriously washed ashore in southwest B.C. over the past year are from the same man, DNA testing has revealed.

I think something is definitely a foot here.

#6? This has to be deliberate. I can't see this being mother nature's way of dealing with bodies in the ocean.

I am thinking maybe some dead bodies in the ocean somewhere, being weighed down some how. Maybe their feet are starting to seperate.

Maybe their feet are starting to seperate.

We've all learned a new term in the past few weeks: disarticulated. Who knew there was a word for this exact thing??

RICHMOND, B.C.–Another foot has washed up on B.C.'s south coast, the seventh to be found from Georgia Strait to the northwestern tip of Washington state since August of 2007. (http://www.thestar.com/news/canada/article/535383)

Why just feet all the time!?

And now for a change of pace:

http://ca.news.yahoo.com/s/capress/090219/national/hand_found

A man walking along a Vancouver Island shore line made a grisly discovery - a right hand lying on the beach.

Old joke circulating around here since all this began:

"Hey, can you gimme a hand?"

"Nope, but here's a foot..."

Here's a great line from that article that will have the Whidbey Island tourism authorities beaming with pride:Because of the island's position in the Strait of Georgia, it's not unusual for bodies, torsos, legs and arms to wash ashore, he said.

If confirmed, it would be the 11th human foot to turn up on the coast of British Columbia and Washington State since 2007. (http://www.theglobeandmail.com/news/national/british-columbia/another-foot-washes-ashore-in-vancouver/article2148021/)

I did not realize they had identified quite a few:

Six of the eight feet previously found have been identified.
