CBC News has been having discussions between Chinese and European (mainly German)
highway building engineers about the safety of recently built highways and, especially overpasses and bridges. for the upcoming Olympics. Some is very scarey stuff, especially considering recent problems ranging from pet food (litigations have begun), toys, canned and other foods. Are any DHC members going to China for the Olympics? Worth following this on CBC website and possibly plan any route changes in China to avoid these potential hazards if possible.
