Bell haslaunched the Samsung r610, a feature-rich mobile phone offering a custom client interface developed by Bell Mobility and a pre-installed phonebook backup manager.
Exclusive to Bell, the Samsung r610 offers a wide range of multimedia and mobile data features, including access to Full Track Music services and Canada’s largest mobile music library, mobile movies and TV, SIRIUS Satellite Radio, picture and video messaging, and Internet access to popular sites, including email services, Facebook and YouTube.
The phone also features Bell Mobility’s new mobile user interface, offering clients have very fast access to favourite applications and services, and features such as personalized “bubbles” that deliver dynamic data streams, such as weather and news headline updates.
A pre-installed backup manager service on the Samsung r610 also allows clients to easily save their existing phone book contacts through a simple set-up procedure on a desktop web portal. Any updates to the contact list are easily managed and stored on the portal and wirelessly synchronized with the phone. The service is available for $3.00 per month.
The Samsung r610 also offers a 1.3 megapixel camera and flash, camcorder, stereo Bluetooth capability, expandable memory and a speakerphone.
