I am looking at buying a DVR 530, I noticed you have to run two lines into the receiver. I found at this site the 421b had a IR blaster. If I understand this correctly the blaster would allow you to receive two channels at once hence only one line Correct?

The 421B blaster was used to trigger your VCR to record..

....The DVR530 needs two lines from the dish to work properly

You can use one line to the DVR530 but the PVR function will not work, I just purchased a multiswitch for the very reason!
