I was wondering if anyone could recommend an affordable speaker system with wireless rear speakers. The only ones I am aware of are the Logitech Z-5450 but they are discontinued...

There really is no such thing as a "wireless" speaker, unless it runs on batteries. That's not very practical for home theater. You either have a speaker cord or a power cord. A speaker cord is usually better and cheaper.

Most wireless rear speaker systems require a plug and wires to the speakers. The only thing you gain is not having a connection from the front of the room. Unfortunately the audio quality from these types of speakers is usually not very good and the signal from the front of the room to the rear is often interrupted if you get up to walk around, if the "eye" doesn't have clear line of sight, etc.
