: Explanation of pixels on my LG 50PC5D

I took this macro pic of my LG 50PC5D and you can clearly see the R/G/B subpixels, but what are those half circles above and below the subpixels?

I apologize if this is a silly question, I'm new to the world of plasma.

Nice picture,

I would assume that the black lines are the bus electrodes. Plasma uses a three electrode structure (two on top and one beneath). The top electrodes are made of transparent ITO. However, each ITO electrode has a thin bus electrode made of metal that blocks some light. Here is a little picture I drew to show you.
