i am considering buying TV at the Sony outlet in Tulalip, WA but the major concern is the warranty. i was told that if i purchase Sony TV in US the warranty will be void. Is there way around this? The price in Sony Outlet in US is way cheaper as compared here though they are refurbished. any idea or suggestions?

Apparently warranties aren't transferable if you buy in the States.
Maybe you could buy a warranty direct from Sony in Canada?
The prices are indeed a lot cheaper in the states than they are here, even with the "so called" US Price matches.
Its funny how a 50" LG plasma in Canada is $1699 (after us match price drop), and how the same 50" plasma is $1399 in America...
Also, remember that you will have to add on custom fees (unless made in usa/mex) and taxes on to it when you cross back into Canada.
