This road just opened and I went to use it and couldn't find the east end of it. Is there a map of the road with the intersections on?

Here is the Google Map of the area.
http://maps.google.ca/maps?hl=en&q=&ie=UTF8&ll=45.431979,-75.754809&spn=0.013703,0.028925&t=h&z=15&om=0

The east end would actually be the Alexandra Bridge which becomes Boul. St Laurent in downtown Hull. Past Lac Des Fees it is Boul. des Allumettières.

Thanks Jake, that helps. Its on the satellite image, not on the map.

So going east I can get on the 50 and then can also get on 5 to go north or south. Going west I see I can get on from the 50 but is there a way of getting on the 50 from the 5 whether I'm going north or south?

thx...

Yes and no. If you are going North (to Wakefield say) on the 5 you take the 2nd exit to go East on 50. There is no exit from the 5 to go West on the 50. To do that you would have to take the 1st exit (Fournier) off of 5 and travel up Maisonneuve a few blocks to Boul. St Laurent.

If you are going South (to Ottawa) on the 5 you can exit to go East but not West on the 50. Or you can take the Fournier/Maisonneuve exit to go West.

Okay thanks, I'll give it a try. The idea is to find a faster way to go to Camp Fortune and Mont Tremblant from the west part of Ottawa....you probably guesed that....

Yeah coming from the west end of Ottawa makes for a bit of zig-zagging in Hull or going through downtown Ottawa to cross over the MacDonald Cartier Bridge.
