Eidos is really digging their own grave. First they supposedly pressure Gamespot into firing an editor because of a mediocre review and now they lie about game review scores on their website. I guess money is more important than maintaining the very least amount of integrity.

Good reads.

Im certainly never going to gamespot again. I noticed a quick and continued decline after Kasavin left.

Im also going to think twice about buying Eidos games.

More scummy moves from Eidos, but the author of that article comes off as a bit of a twit when he complains about "censorship" on Eidos' message boards.

BTW - shouldnt this thread be merged with the one about Jeff Gertsman getting fired...??

To add some intrigue, if you go to gamespot, users are no longer allowed to provide their rating of the game. This feature was disabled for that game.

For those who dont frequent gamespot, they provide a gamescore, and users on the site can also provide their rating.

Apologies for my "twit" remark. I'm not sure where I read that "censorship" comment, but it wasn't in either of those two blog postings.
