Well the PPV's were not that impressive last year. All games were in standard def only and they had a good number of picture and sound problems.

If they can work out the sound/picture problems and come through with HD for all the games then I think they are definitely worth it. The best plan is to check out the 1st one and see what you think. It is in 9 days I believe vs the Penguins.

Has anyone actually ordered Thursday's PPV from Rogers. As it stands now the CSR said you can't order a single game and although channels 499 and 500 seem to be set up on the IPG, there are no descriptions. The Sens site says you can for $10.95 plus tax but doesn't say how. I'm trying to organize something for that evening but don't want to be wasting my time.

I have not ordered yet. I was planning to get the pack of all the games either today or tomorrow. It was somewhat unorganized last year too. I'm sure they'll figure it out though.

It's not on NHL CI, it's on TSN, in glorious HD.

The Senators/Penguins game on Thursday night is on TSN in HD? It doesn't show on their schedule on their site.

The PPV is supposed to be HD in Ottawa at least - will believe it when I see it though.

DOH! My bad - I was talking about the Sens-Buffalo game tonight. That one is on TSN HD tonight.

Thursday's game - Sens-Pitt is on NHL CI - SPO25 here in the GTA. Not sure if it will be in HD on SportsnetHD.

Cheers.

Well it won't be in HD on Sportsnet HD in Toronto since it isn't a national game but it may be on one of the HD Center Ice channels though.

Hopefully - I guess we'll find out tomorrow night. I'll check the guide later.

Here on Rogers in the GTA the PPV is showing up on Rogers 499 for the SD version and Rogers 500 for the HD version. Oddly enough, those are usually used for Setanta and LeafsTV channels. It's also on NHL CI - 455.

Does anyone know if there is a package for the whole season like last year where it works out to 1 game free if you buy them all? I'm interested in the HD versions. I'll have to call them before the game I guess.

When I checked the guide yesterday, it has some info about buying all games for $59.95 or something or single games on the day-of. But they didn't indicate the single game price - just to call in for more info. I looked today, and the PPV games are no longer in the guide - which is odd. Not sure what happened.
