I just noticed these 2 channels in the IPG, thanks for the heads up Hugh. I wonder how much they will end up charging for these...

I am still waiting for the ScoreHD to show up as well, this was promised quite some time ago

edit: Just read in the Access November newsletter that the Super channel package will be $16.95 a month. Thats 4 SD channels plus the 2 HD ones.

Tell us more... the reports I recall said they would have 1 new film every day, but the titles and series were a bit esoteric.

I was happy to see Zodiac today on Superchannel. PQ and sound were fine.

OK .. saw the announcement in the monthly newsletter .. with the free previews .. but when you go to the guide (last night) it says "coming soon" in all timeslots but if you select the slot anyway, there's content. Unfortunately, you have no idea what it is; or what is coming. If you go to any of the online guides listed on the Access site, they don't have those two channels. Even stranger, I couldn't find anything on the Access site that even mentioned the new channels. You'd think they'd want to be promoting it.

The Guide has now been updated to include the 2 SC HD channels

Now with the guide we can see the series and movie selection are indeed fairly alternative.

The series have proven somewhat interesting and different. Those, and the movies, are indeed quite esoteric. I'd have to think it's not costing a lot to fill this channel since the films being shown are of such narrow appeal they can't be asking much of a fee.

It would be a good bonus to have these HD channels, but I really don't see this justifying $17/month. $5.95 at the most, but not $17. Maybe they'll do something smart and split the low def and high def channels, and charge $6 for the HD and $11 for the low def.
