I bought an iPhone, unlocked it for Fido, and am happy as a clam. One glitch only: the SMSs Fido sends out to notify users of a waiting voicemail is not received by the iphone. (not a problem with rogers subscribers)

Does anyone else have this problem?

Thought I could corral some interest in this issue among Fido folks...

it has something to do with the AT&T carrier specific branding and the delivery of text messages from fido's voicemail delivery number (+18) that the iPhone will not receive. As far as I know, AT&T uses the MWI voicemail system, so the iPhone is set up to receive VMI Iconic based voicemail indicators, and NOT the text based indicators used by Fido. This is another reason to wait for a Fido or Rogers to release the iPhone
