I am visiting Ontario and have seen a few shops selling the Veiwsat receivers. I currently have a Dish Network dish on my house but no Receiver. Will View sat work in Alberta?

Yes, but there are not a lot of FTA channels on Dishnetwork or Expressvu.

You will want to also invest on a 30" or larger (I recommend 1M at least) Ku dish, LNBF, and motor.
