: ExpressVu Drops LeafsTV HD - Closing as its FALSE!
987654321 2007-09-18, 01:22 PM I know they ripped it off
Future Shop has worked long and hard over the years to gain the ripoff label - seems they are still on top form.
smootherator 2007-09-18, 03:17 PM That is too funny :p.
Hugh you should complain to them asking where they get their info from and to next time make sure they name their sources.
Heck they should be adverstising here.
Just for that I would ban their name from being used on your forum.
noelk 2007-09-18, 04:10 PM ...I justed noticed last night an add for LeafsTV HD on Channel 829 - the BEV HD barker channel that advertises their HD offerings.
And yes, while LeafsTV is only available in a part of Ontario, it's a region of approximate 11 MILLION PEOPLE...that's 92% of Ontario residents! On a national basis, the Leafs region includes 45% of Canadian anglophone markets, and 38% of the Canadian population as a whole.
That's a large market that you can't ignore.
i hate tv 2007-09-18, 04:28 PM This is good news
I will still watch Leaf games in SD, but only if its not available in HD
If Leafs HD was dropped by Bell, I would be not a happy camper!
Seems this confusion is on the Bell side as well, as CSR's are not being informed of whether they are carrying the channel or not, so some "coaching" is needed to upgrade their knowledge of their channels
jumpy27 2007-09-18, 06:17 PM If you get NHLCI doesn't Bell give everybody LeafsTV in HD for the games?
She (Jody Vance) is married to one of the guys(can't remember his name) that is a higher up on Leaf$ TV.
Darn! I thought I had a chance!
Ex Agent EV 2007-09-18, 06:31 PM There is something you should all understand... CSR's are informed when there is changes in the programming and on what is offered ot not, but some refused to take the time to read the information, and therefore make us look misinformed.
Also since we have a AHT (average handle time) to respect some will just say just about everything to get off the phone.
That said, I've been saying since the beggening of that thread that there was no info of the channel being removed. Yesterday I also said that the channel does not appear on the new programming brochure in the HD section. Today I went in the system that list all the channels and on which transponder they are located and Leafs HD is still there.

That explains why the service at Bell is so poor. Bell has to allow their CSR's more time to help each customer. They also need to be better informed by the higher ups as to what is going on. Now I understand why some people say that Bell is going to go out of buisness someday.

.....Hmm... BEV should list LeafsTV HD on their brochures & website...this would clear the fog
scrooloose 2007-09-18, 07:11 PM Or perhaps QIJO you shouldn't jump to conclusions and then post inappropriately. As a Starchoice user, why would you possibly care anyway? This entire thread should have never existed.

i hate tv 2007-09-18, 07:17 PM Not necessarily
This has shown that Bell needs to coach their CSR's of the channels that the customers can order
Mistakes like this cost money
If I had a chance to order Leafs TV, but it was only available in SD, I might not order it
AEV raised a great point, showing that CSR's will say anything to get you off of the phone to save grace in the face of the all mighty average handle time
If more time was spent helping customers with their questions, instead of looking for a way to "get rid" of the customer, there wouldnt be so many complaints about the poor customer service
On a side note, when a CSR "accidentally" drops a call, could this be done to stay within the average handle time guidelines?
Ex Agent EV 2007-09-18, 10:07 PM The answer is yes, unfortunatly for that call he would be considered to have a good AHT...
We have all the information we need about that channel...but some CSR won't just take the time to consult it. There is clear ino as to which postal code could order Leafs TV and which can't...
Also the system automatically adds it in the programming choices when the client is in the region eligible to get Leafs TV.
Closing. This thread should never have happened.
It was false and an example of why its important that people check their facts before posting.
