No real surprise. It'll be a long time before HDM surpasses DVD, probably a few years AFTER the US eliminates NTSC broadcasts (2009 I Believe?)

Captain obvious to the rescue! lol couldn't resist. The point is that despite BD outselling HDDVD 2:1, rentals on the other hand are equal which can only mean...you figure it out.

That HD DVD supporters are cheapskates who prefer the less-pricey hardware and rent rather than buy? :)

Sorry, couldn't resist the joke. I'm actually on the sidelines myself, waiting for one to slay the other and more good backlist titles to become available.
