Hey guys,

While tinkering with my broken TV (LG supposed to come fix it next week) I seem to have found a secret menu or service menu possibly. Maybe this is the menu that they "tune" the TV with. I know this service is pricey, and am not sure what is involved, but here is how to get to it.

Hold "Menu" on the side of the TV.
While holding "Menu" on the TV, press "Menu" on the remote 5 times. There are 2 different menu's that pop up.. not sure on how to get each to pop up individually... but just repeat the process several times and you will see the different menus I am talking about.

Any comments or ideas on how these could be used?

They could be used for disastrous results if you don't know what you are doing.

Service/designer menus are for the techs.

When the tech comes to fix your set, ask him/her.

Filper,

Yeah, I wasn't planning on changing any settings or anything like that. I have a pretty extensive electronics background, but these menu options far surpass my knowledge. Just thought someone might be able to use these for something

If you ever desire to have your set professionally calibrated it may be good to know how to access the menus.

I have the 32LC7D and was able to get the display looking great with the user menu. Darn fine set and free HD OTA is a huge plus.

Even OTA analogue looks good.

Please see the following thread on service menus and also heed the warnings.

Be advised that this is how an ISF calibrator may tune your TV - Best Buy or other stores usually doesn't access this.
