Hi
The last few days the Internet is not consistent. Starting from noon till about 7 p.m. the Internet is either very slow (CNN loads in over 10 minutes) or there is no connection at all. I asked my neighbor, he has the same problem but does not bother calling.
I call customer service they go through everything staring with unplugging the modem. I tell them I have not moved anything in years but still have to do all that. They insist it is my problem and send a technician.
I wait during the 3-hour window and he comes in. By then the Internet is back. He measures the signal and says everything is fine. I ask him to record that in his report so next time they know it is not inside the house and I don’t have to wait for the technician.
A few hours after he leaves the problem happens again. I call and they ask me to go through the same exercise again. I try to explain that their technician was just there but they do not listen. They insist again that it is inside the house and say the technician will come tomorrow from 2 to 5 p.m. I try to explain that everything if fine inside the house they don’t want to listen. My area is old and I am thinking because the connections are on the poles in the back yard, it might be the heat.
I ask to talk to a supervisor they put me on hold for over an hour so I hang up.
Tomorrow I have to be home from 2 to 5 p.m.
Can anyone tell me what is wrong? I pay my bill the day it comes in the mail. I have cable, Internet and phone with Rogers. I have been a good customer for years. Who can I talk to?
