Iconic heavy metal band AC/DC has finally decided to allow fans to download its music, joining with Verizon Wireless to deliver songs online. (http://www.cbc.ca/arts/music/story/2007/08/02/acdc-downloading.html)

The band's entire back catalog will be sold through March 2008, making Verizon the only company to offer the Australian band's content.

AC/DC has been one of the staunchest downloading holdouts in the music world, unwilling to let songs go piecemeal.

The deal is limited to full album downloads of the band's 18 classic albums, except for the band's biggest hit song, You Shook Me All Night Long, which will be available as a single download. The 1980 single was the AC/DC's first Top 40 hit.
