I PVRed Big Love on TMNHD last night and then watched it. The show started late and then went over the end of the recording. What I saw at the end was Roman being shot then Bill in the basement praying with Ben and what I assume is the closing music playing....so did I miss anything????

No you did not miss anything. Thought something like that would happen......now the program may move in a different direction. One of the better offerings on TMN. (no pun intended)

I hopeRoman doesn't die..I love a good bad guy

BIG Love has become my only "Must Watch" this summer! I just don't think it will have the longetivity/appeal of Six Feet Under, Deadwood, or Sopranos though due to subject matter....too bad...it sure does grow on you !

Thanks guys, yes the series does grow on you. I think last night we learned a lot about the "preferences" of the 3 wives....:p

Why are some of the posts "blued" out?

So people that haven't watched the show yet, don't get to see what happened.

I asked my wife is she was more like Margene, Nickie or Barb. When she told me Nickie, I said right....you've never done anything Margene hasn't done? She laughed and said she said she has a bit of all three....what a good laugh we had on that one.

I must say, from the first time we watched the show, we were iffy as to what to think. It is a great show and hope to see this go as long as The Sopranos.

This is one of the better program available to us. Pleased that it has been renewed for a third season.

I have to say that I was starting to lose a little patience with the show. It seemed like it was starting to gloss over the seediness of polygamy ... until this episode. Talk about a payoff! It was the best episode of the series and maybe the best hour of TV I've seen in a long time.

who'd miss the Greens? I do, adding that groups to the mix would be more interesting to the show but oh well they'd gone but I have a feeling that they will be back. (...with more brandings :) )

We went to HomeDepot last weekend and there was a white van parked with its engine running. There were 2 occupants in it wearing sunglasses. I wispered to my wife that Hollis Green was inside waiting for someone to brand...my wife started walking faster telling me I was not funny. She said that there might be people like that in this world. I laughed and so did she. TV rots our fragile little mind....like Eric Cartman said one day.

i'm glad there was a marathon of the 1st season earlier in the summer. I tried the 1st couple of episodes on the 1st run, but didn't like it. I did appreciate more when I was able to get into over 8 episodes in a couple of nights.

Great show

Further on the heads up, I've had to manually change my "#&@#" timer because MC for the last 2 episodes has been starting Big Love earlier then indicated on the guide!

Final episode for this year aired last night on the MovieNetwork. Certainly cleared up a few things and set the stage for the next series in 2008.

Actually, the more things they cleared up, the foggier they got....for the next season.;)

Good shows like that are the reason we have TMN in our house.
