i gave up calling. i assumed it was something like you mentioned dave. i get the bundle and vip discount so some $3 reversal isn't going to crush me.

Just thought I'd post a quick update on my billing issue... as you'll recall, I'd been told that the $6.98 VIP discount reversal was due to a glitch in their system, and that it would be fixed by a "special department" handling the problem.

I got this month's bill, and nothing had been fixed. So I called them up again, and got a very apologetic CSR who confirmed all the details that I'd received before, and said that he didn't understand why my bill hadn't been corrected yet. He said he'd check into it, and call me back. Guess what; no returned call.

According to my calculations, they owe me $50 at this point. Not enough to chop them off yet. And given past experience with Bell, I'm not sure I'll be any happier with them.

Yet another quick update (just in case anybody actually reads this thread ;)

My latest bill was still wrong; so I called Rogers yet again. This time, after I'd explained my problem, the girl promptly said she'd credit me the $6.95 that was reversed incorrectly. When I explained that this had been a problem for many months, and that I was owed about $50 at this point, she happily credited my that too, and told me that all I should pay for this month was about $10.

So, that's what I paid, and we'll see how screwed up my bill is next month!

despite the process becoming more and more annoying every month, at least it seems to be as simple as calling up about it and getting a credit. on the other hand, it's a bit concerning that they will refund you this amount based on pretty much no information.

my mysterious discount reversal wasn't on the bill this month. i'm fairly sure it had something to due with the 4 month 25% discount i had on my HD service causing my overall discounts to be too high.

best of luck cheapo with the full return. it's hit and miss, but sometimes they do come through.
