Edmonton takes pity on homeless Eskimos

EDMONTON — People in Edmonton are offering to open their doors to a group of homeless Eskimos.

The Canadian Football League club says 20 of its new players can't find a place to live in the booming city where rents are high and vacancy rates are low.

The top paid player is QB Dave Dickenson of BC Lions who is making $475,000. Most players are in the $50,000 range.
