Edmonton takes pity on homeless Eskimos

EDMONTON — People in Edmonton are offering to open their doors to a group of homeless Eskimos.

The Canadian Football League club says 20 of its new players can't find a place to live in the booming city where rents are high and vacancy rates are low.

You do realize that CFL players for the most part make about as much as you and I right?

And their contacts are not guaranteed. You get cut, you don't get paid.
The top paid player is QB Dave Dickenson of BC Lions who is making $475,000. Most players are in the $50,000 range.
