im new in canada. right now im in saskatoon. i've got rogers wireless but their outgoing international calls are very expensive. Right now, i dont know of any other service provider having service for cell fones in saskatoon to make LD calls from cell fone without having to dial the pin code. If anyone could help me,if he knows any solution?

thanx

Hi Khanlov,

I can feel your pain about high LD rates dialing directly from the cell phone. However, there are lots of other providers that can give you cheaper rates, sometimes even 90% off Rogers posted rates.

Here are a few providers that I have used or know off:

G3Telecom - www.g3telecom.com
Reliance - www.relianceindiacall.com/canada (they're no longer carrying traffic to India only)
Yak - cell.yak.ca (check out YakCallback)

Which provider you use also depends on your cell phone plan. Do you have an unlimited incoming plan? If so, I would highly recommend the YakCallback service. You dial a 416# access number, which is always busy (so your call is never connected). Yak recognizes your CLID, sees you're a customer, then calls you back to give you the ability to dial LD at their rates.

Good luck!
