Hey...I have one of these but cancelled my Rogers cable...just trying to find out without the cable signal coming in how I can go about still watching what I taped on the PVR...it just keeps saying that it is initilizing but never goes any futher. Any help would be great!

Once the cable DVRs have powered down, they will not boot/operate without being connected to the system. I assume you're in Atlantic Canada and will move this to that forum.

Besides signing back up to Rogers, the only thing you could do is go to a friends and have that box set up on their account long enough to tape/record the content off of it and then cancel the box off of that persons account.
