I bet anytime that it is not extremely over hyped Ala the Recent De La Hoya vs. Meriwether bout the UFC will trounce boxing.
It is more interesting and varied and with the exception of a few stomach churning joints going the wrong way moments, it seems to be safer for the fighters. I watch every UFC event but I have not watched boxing since Don King came to prominence.
ringmaster 2007-05-26, 04:56 AM I can't wait for UFC on PPV tonite:D
has the makings of one being an awesome fight. Can't wait either.
jacksparrow 2007-05-26, 07:47 PM Over the last four years Chuck “The Iceman” Liddell has been unstoppable. He has dominated his last seven fights and gained legendary status in the Octagon™ as the UFC® World Light Heavyweight Champion. In what will be the mega-fight of the summer, Liddell will meet Quinton “Rampage” Jackson for the second time in an attempt to avenge his loss to the last man who defeated him.
UFC 71: LIDDELL vs. JACKSON is available live on pay-per-view at 10 p.m. EST/7 p.m. PST on iN DEMAND, DIRECTV, DISH Network, TVN, Bell ExpressVu, Shaw Communications and Viewer’s Choice Canada for a suggested retail price of $39.95 ($39.99 CAD).
BANG!
Chuck is awesome but was cheering for Jackson. AWESOME!
jacksparrow 2007-05-27, 07:25 AM What a fight that was, was cheering for Jackson too, the fact that he beat Liddell before, that confidence was there that he could do it again. I don't why everyone there including agassi, david spade, chris angel, adam sandler were saying the ice man was going win?
Jackson did say he was going to melt the ice, and he did in the 1st round. Good call by the ref, or Liddell would have been covered in blood
no one really knows these guys coming from pride.
Great fight and John stopped the fight perfect. Chuck was out and still dazed after waking up. Q.J. would have done serious damage otherwise.

james99 2007-07-14, 10:28 PM Luckily this fight was FREE if you have HBO. But because Gatti has a Montreal connection you have the pleasure of paying 40 dollars if you have a Canadian tv provider. lol
Thanx for HBO.
