tdti1 2006-12-01, 10:06 PM Haha I just came to post it, lucky I get Showtime and HBO east and west, I can watch all the fights on Saturday, probably going to watch the HBO one live on HBO HD, and the Showtime one on the west feed in HD :)

SHOBOX: THE NEW GENERATION 11PM on Showtime.
Saturday
SHOWTIME CHAMPIONSHIP BOXING
Samuel Peter and James Toney in a World Heavyweight Rematch, Sat, Jan 6. 10:00PM ET/PT on Showtime.
ctown6412 2007-01-08, 01:20 PM Are we able to get Friday night fights on any channels from Bell? I know it airs on ESPN2 hd on dishnet but do we get this program on any canadian providers?
I really want to watch this upcoming fridays fights if possible!
Tsn lists it as a fight for jan 14 on Sunday but I cant find it in the schedule
james99 2007-01-08, 01:33 PM Since ESPN is part owner of TSN, this is your only hope. I dont' think TSN airs these fights the same time as ESPN so you may have to wait a few days, if it airs at all.
Moving to proper forum since it's not a Bell issue.
ctown6412 2007-01-08, 02:17 PM I like that it was a double header for title matches, although I had to go all the way to the states to watch it on showtime;)
Looking forward to seeing Samuel Peter get a REALLY fight now!
james99 2007-01-08, 02:21 PM Not a bad fight but Showtime paid too much attention to the undercard.
It took forever for the main event to start.
SportsFan 2007-01-10, 12:22 AM Manchester's favourite boxer makes his Las Vegas debut Jan 20th at 10 pm ET/7 pm PT.
Also, TSN will show last weekend's Samuel Peter vs. James Toney fight on Jan 13 at 8 ET/5 PT.
tdti1 2007-01-19, 07:03 PM British boxing sensation Ricky Hatton lands in Las Vegas to open the 2007 boxing season on HBO when World Championship Boxing: Juan Urango vs. Ricky Hatton and Jose Luis Castillo vs. Herman Ngoudjo is seen live from the Paris Casino on Saturday, Jan 20 (9:45 PM ET/6:45 PM PT).
Juan Urango (17-0-1, 13 KOs)
Ricky "Hitman" Hatton (41-0, 30 KOs)

james99 2007-01-19, 07:14 PM Should be a good fight.
silentkilla 2007-01-23, 01:15 AM This is going to be a great fight between Jake O’Brien and Heath Herring this coming Thursday night! I just hope there won’t be any kissing scene like what happened in Heath’s last match w/ Japanese fighter Yoshihiro Nakao who kissed him before a fight. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i_P4Yr3ArEg Man, that was hilarious! But it also displayed Heath’s powerful punch, so I guess he stands a chance against the undefeated Jake O’Brien.
james99 2007-01-23, 12:42 PM A miracle happened last weekend on TSN HD, the HBO fight was actually in HD.
silentkilla 2007-01-26, 02:38 AM What a big upset! O'Brien pulling a big win over Herring. His takedown defense wasn't there at all! He got out wrestled and failed to control the fight. Still I can’t help but find Jake's tactics, boring and cheap.
Salmon was outclassed, but he won round 1 IMO. Rashad seemed intent on staying on his feet and striking, and it worked out ok for him tonight.
I was surprised with both jake and sean. I think Heath just didn't bring it that night. He has been fighting a long time and to be so bad at being taken down and mounted. On top of that complaining about it??
I can't wait till the upcoming PPV with CroCop. I have watched most of his fights and having a croatian backround is very exciting.
Biggworm 2007-01-26, 10:26 AM Don't want to highjack the thread but UFC 67 on February 3, 2007 is being advertised on the UFC site as being available in HD (with the disclaimer to call your provider for availability). Seeing Cro Cop's UFC debut in HD would be great. I didn't notice anyhting mentioned on the Viewer's Choice website about the fight being in HD. Anyone out there in DHC land have confirmation? I can check the guide as of Sunday to see if it has those magic letters (HD) after the program description.

Just checked the bell site and it is in PPV but it is $49.99 instead of $39.99.
tdti1 2007-01-27, 01:33 PM The late night HBO boxing series premieres with a spectacular doubleheader when HBO Boxing After Dark: Jorge Arce vs. Julio Ler and Kelly Pavlik vs. Jose Luis Zertuche is seen SATURDAY, JAN. 27 at 10:15 PM ET/PT, from The Honda Center in Anaheim, CA, exclusively on HBO.
JesseJ 2007-01-29, 04:44 PM The TSN HD sked has a bunch of Boxing After Dark and Friday Night Fights listed as being in HD. Let's hope that comes true!
http://tsn.ca/hd/ontsn/?sport=HD&hubname=
First one I see is the 30th, Jan 30th Friday Night Fights: Randall Bailey vs. Harrison Cuello 3:30 PM in HD
7 Bouts listed in the next 2 1/2 weeks in HD:
http://tsn.ca/boxing/on_tsn/?show=BOXING
One of those is the Hatton/Urango replay on Feb 3.
james99 2007-01-29, 05:45 PM The past 2 fights on TSN have been in HD, including Saturday's BAD.
tdti1 2007-02-02, 07:06 PM Undefeated southpaw James "Mandingo Warrior" Kirkland (17-0, 15 KOs) and unbeaten Timothy "Desert Storm'' Bradley (17-0, 10 KOs) will take on Billy Lyell (14-3, 2 KOs) and Manuel Garnica (22-6, 12 KOs), respectively, in the co-featured bouts Friday, Feb. 2, on "ShoBox: The New Generation." SHOWTIME will televise the action at 11 p.m. ET/PT (delayed on the west coast).
