Its on TSN at 11:00 pm EST. 30 min tape delay isnt too bad. I wished it was in HD though.

Assuming the Nascar race doesn't run late. Most races seem to go longer than the expected window.

Good main event. Should be nominated for fight of the year.

wow, that was messed up. first its called a draw during the telecast then afterwards Barrera is awarded a split decision victory because of an error in counting the scorecards.

that must have messed up a bunch of people who had money on this.

btw, great fight. I had barrera winning by a close margin.

I missed that. I went to bed shortly after the fight ended (I flipped over to TSN and they still had Nascar on) assuming it was a draw (which meant Barrera kept his belt).

Just read the scoring mistake now:

In the end, the judges scored it 115-113 Juarez, 115-113 Barrera and 115-114 Barrera. The result so close it was initially mistallied and called a draw, but Judge Ken Morita's card was corrected from 114-114, and the champion was named the winner. As soon as the first score came out of Buffers mouth, I knew it would a 114-114 draw. After all, if each round is scored 10-9 then the total number of points should total 228.

HBO is rebroadcasting the fight now. I would have given Barrera a 115-113 decision.

WWE and Global bring ECW to Canada

Canada's Slam! Wrestling is reporting that WWE's ECW brand will debut o*n the Global Television Network at Midnight o*n August 11.

Slam! also reports that ECW will also air o*n the Xtreme digital channel o*n Saturdays at 1:00 PM and 9:00 PM as well as Sundays at 4:00 AMIt was noted that the "Global Television Network has also committed to adding both Monday Night RAW and SmackDown! to their programming lineup in Quebec, beginning with RAW o*n August 7 at Midnight o*n CKMI. SmackDown! will air o*n Saturday nights at 12:30 a.m. ET o*n CJNT starting o*n August 11."
