I was just playing with my remote (Harmony 880)today and found the PIP button. I pushed it and it brought Rogers Channel 1 in a small box in the middle of the screen. The TV channel that I was watching (Ottawa Hockey on 513) didn't change. My Question is how do I change or control the Channel in the PIP box ? Can I toggle between the main channel and the PIP ? Ihave a Sony KDL-40V2500 and the Rogers 8300HD PVR.

Hi malam. Near the bottom of the 8300HD remote are five buttons used for PIP. On-Off, Swap, Move, Ch+, and Ch-. You can change the channel on the little box with the Ch+ and Ch-, move it around to any of the four corners of your screen with Move, toggle between the main picture and the little box with Swap, and turn it on and off with On-Off. I don't think you can change channels on the little box by entering the channel number; I believe you can only change channels on the little box by using the Ch+ and Ch- at the bottom of the remote.

Now you just have to program that stuff into your Harmony!

If its a long way to the channel you want in the PiP, instead of using the little CH+, do a swap first, then enter the number to bring up the desired channel and swap again.

It's interesting that you say it's in the middle of your screen. It should be close to one of the four corners. Is it actually in the middle, or close to one of the corners (not right in the corner).

Thanks - its in the corner of a 4:3 display portion of the screen. I got all the buttons now. I had my remote reprogrammed a week ago to resolve a problem with my AVR. I am not so sure what I did to the remote, but these PIP buttons were not there before ! I love it though. I will post the Remote problem in the Harmony Remote Forum.
