Better question: does anyone here even watch The View?

For the record, I'm against any self-appointed moral quality control experts trying to have anyone fired from TV or radio shows because the person in question seems to offend them. That includes the idiots Rush Limbaugh and Don Imus in case anyone is wondering, but this thread is not about those buffoons.

Leave Rosie alone and get on with more important things. Hey, maybe her PR people are behind that petition.

Ditto Stampeder.

If you don't like Rosie, don't watch.

My TVs come with an off switch. I don't like something - I use it!

Well, this bring Imus back then.

What is that number supposed to tell us? Its at 71,036 as of this writing, which means an insignificant trickle (276 signatories per hour) by Internet standards. And then there's this jewel on the petition's main masthead:This is not a legal document. We understand the petition can easily be frauded and the identity of each individual signee can never be verified.Ha ha ha :D This is quality entertainment!

Who says that "Hugh Jass" and "Seymour Butz" aren't real people? :p

I say leave Rosie and her big yap alone, turn the dial and watch something else. Ditto for Imus and guys like him / worse than he is.

I would like to see a survivor series with Rosie, Oprah, the Donald and Imus.....or instead of Imus maybe Jerry Springer....

It could be at the north pole in January.....

Add Jerry Fallwell and Pat Robertson and I will order it on PPV.

Considering that "The View" has had a ratings increase since Rosie joined, I doubt that any petition would have any effect.

I believe that "The View" is the only ABC daytime show that is increasing its audience size.

That's why I think Rosie's PR people are behind this.

I do watch the view and would eliminate Barbara WaWa before Rosie and then get rid of Elizabeth, the George Bush supporter. The ratings are up and the advertisers are generaly happy......judging by the number of product give-a-ways. Barbara is from the old school whose time has come and passed.

(April 13) -- Fanning the flames of discontent sparked by the Imus controversy, former congressman Tom DeLay is making a plea for his fellow conservatives to get Rosie O'Donnell fired for recent remarks she made. Rosie should be allowed to say what she wants. It is free speach. If I don't like it, I won't watch. In my opinion, Imus did a lot less, but Al Sharpton and Jessie Jackson used it to get themselves into the media and promote censorship. Bring back Imus!

Anti-American comments on a channel owned by Disney isn't a wise career decision.

Would that be in lbs or body count?

(I couldn't help it) lol

She's opinionated and generally doesn't suck up to celebrities, so I'm okay with her. I just think she needs her own show. She embarrasses the other ladies because she won't let them get a word in.

If David Duke has the right to say what he wants so does Rosie;)

This should get her fired:

April 24, 2007 -- ROSIE O'Donnell's blue humor made faces red when she emceed the Matrix Awards in front of 2,000 feting New York's most accomplished women in media at the Waldorf-Astoria Grand Ballroom yesterday. (http://www.nypost.com/seven/04242007/gossip/pagesix/pagesix.htm)
