Normal indicates the "stretch" mode you're currently using. Normal being none. If you press your '*' button on the remote repeatedly, you will cycle through the various stretch modes available. Many people prefer to stretch (or zoom) the SD channels, and leave the HD channels Normal. Personally I prefer Partial Zoom for SD.

By the way, I'm not sure why you're using both DVI and component inputs. You only need one or the other.

Thanks I thought I lost the HD feed. The reason I was running both was for testing comparison. This is a site I will stay with. Ligit dish rocks long live 302 after 11pm. :p :D

on my TV, on "normal" HD feed is squished to 4x3. On "Full" is normal. Software people don't understand TV.
