Got my 2wire modem/router in the mail. was setting it up last night. everything going fine. punched in the IP to configure the router. it said my 2wire software/firmware? could be upgraded. started that process. however, since then, every time i punch in the local IP to configure the router, it re-sets itself. tech support could not help, so I am going to request a new modem.

internet still works no prob after it resets itself, just can't configure wiresless or any of the settings. same thing happens running safari on the iBook or IE on a Windows XP machine.

I am thinking the software/firmware upgrade did not complete and this is causing the problems. hardreset did not work. anyone ideas out there of what is going on/possible solutions.
