Resurrection Sunday – Sunday, April 8
You don’t expect SCREAM to pay tribute to Easter with a day of chocolates and bunnies, do you? We’ve got an entire day of return-from-the-dead movies, including:

Night of the Living Dead (1968) at 7 p.m.
George A. Romero’s masterwork remains unseated as the standard in zombie horror.

The Resurrected (1992) at 9 p.m.
Chris Sarandon plays Charles Dexter Ward, a man obsessed with the occult practices of an ancestor (also played by Sarandon) who allegedly discovered the secret to resurrecting the dead.

The Lost Boys (1987) at 11 p.m.
Long before he was fighting the forces of evil on TV, Kiefer Sutherland was the embodiment of evil in this hip tale of toothsome teens who terrorize a California beach town. Directed by Joel Schumacher, The Lost Boys also stars Jason Patric, Corey Haim, Dianne Weist and Corey Feldman.

Carrie double bill – Thursday, April 12

Carrie (1976) – April 12 at 7 p.m.
Adapted from the Stephen King novel, Carrie tells the tale of a girl with extraordinary powers who terrorizes prom night. Carrie stars Sissy Spacek, Amy Irving and John Travolta.

The Rage: Carrie II (1999) – April 12 at 9 p.m. *SCREAM PREMIERE*
Years after Carrie White killed all her friends and ruined prom night, Sue Snell (Amy Irving) is a high school counselor who devotes her attention to Rachel Lang (Emily Bergl), a troubled young girl tormented by her peers. If only she knew that she was Carrie’s half sister!
