I am a new cell phone user, and I have one with a web browser. I rather impressed by it except that many of the websites I access from my computer either don't work well or don't work at all on my mobile device?

Any suggestions on how I should load up my bookmarks on my phone with good, useful sites for mobile browsers?

So far I have:

- weather - theweathernetwork.com
- sports - nhl.com, tsn.ca, espn.com, sportsline.com
- news - globeandmail.com, bbcnews.com

Thanks! .... EGC

How about m.gmail.com for accessing your Gmail account?

Be cautious of using the mobile browser unless you have some sort of browser/data package - it can get expensive.

I get an error message when I try it. I get the impression although my phone is relatively new, content providers have already require phones with higher capabilities to access them.

I'd really like a stock quote/business news site (globe and mail is pretty disappointing it what they offer) or a Toronto news site that's updated fairly often.

Both the NHL.com and Espn.com hockey services are excellent sources for getting playoff results if you are away from a tv. I highly recommend them.

BBC News is also great but the content isn't always so pertinent to me. The weather network is also very good.

This site converts content down to work on lower capability phones. So far, I'm very impressed!

Opera mini is phenominal free program. Much better than the mobile phone browser junk.

And get the unlimited data plan. It's only $5 for Aliant.
