I'm in London as well. Both my HD PBS stations and The Score are black. They've been this way for a little while. I check my signal strength on the Cable Box and it reads -7.5db. I guess I'll be making the call as well.

Looks like this is a common problem in London. My wife blamed me for losing HD PBS on 525 and 530 (this thread will get me out of the doghouse!). 507 is black as well. Must be something about the wiring that they used in London. We're in a subdivision just north of UWO. Is this something confined to the north end of the city or are people having issues in other parts of London?

We're near Riverside and Hyde Park. Please post what Rogers says when you call. I cancelled my service appointment when the channels came back up.

OK, a very nice technician (not Rogers, some sub-contract company) came out last night. We're in the Pond Mills area in London. He said Rogers is getting bombed with calls about these channels. He checked my main entry line and it was perfect. He replaced all the el-cheapo connectors on all my lines and checked my signal at the High-def box.

My problem was that I was running my coax cable into a surge protector first, and then into the cable box. DO NOT DO THIS! It is not necessary. As long as your main cable is grounded at the entry point, there is no reason to run the coax into a surge protector. As soon as he removed the feed into the surge protector, PBS 525, 530 and the Score 507 came alive again.

So, these channels must be "weaker" than the were before. Therefore they are very sensitive to any drops in signal. Check your connections. Pull the wallplates off the wall, unscrew the feeder cable from inside the wall and check the end. Is the centre conductor long enough? Is it too long? It should only go past the screw on connector by a little. Is the F-type connector a cheap screw on type? Cut it off and replace it with a high quality compression type that Rogers uses. What about the cable that connects from the wall plate to the HD box? It should be of high quality as well.
